About FaceFinder
Face search for event photography
What it does
A photographer or host uploads an event's photos once. FaceFinder indexes every face it finds. A guest holding the event's code takes a selfie and receives only the photos they appear in — instead of being handed several hundred to scroll through.
How photos and selfies are handled
A selfie used for a search is not kept: it is turned into a numeric face signature, matched, and discarded. The only exception is when a guest deliberately saves a short code so they can return to their results later. Event photos belong to the account that uploaded them, and are removed with the event.
What a guest can and cannot do
A guest's code opens exactly one event. They can search it by selfie and see their matches; they cannot browse the whole gallery, reach another event, or upload anything. The event owner can close guest search at any time, which the code respects immediately.
